ROXCEL to acquire Galileo Nanotech, a leader in metallized paper in Russia
Galileo Nanotech has a capacity of about 8.000 tons in metalizing paper, board and films

ROXCEL Group via its subsidiary ROXCEL Converting GmbH, Vienna, has taken over Galileo Nanotech JSC, located in the Moscow region and specialized in production of metallizing paper and PSL with immediate effect.

Galileo Nanotech, located in the town of Khotkovo, Moscow region, is a modern factory with state-of-the-art equipment. It has a capacity of about 8.000 tons in metalizing paper, board and films and about 34 Mio m2 in PSL and employs 140 people.

“We are delighted to add Galileo Nanotech to our company portfolio as it is a perfect fit in the forward integration of our paper and energy division thus offering added value to our customer base which we serve through the trading division world wide”, said the founder of ROXCEL Group, Mr. Ahmad Porkar.

ROXCEL Group with production sites and electricity and heat generation in Austria and Slovenia as well as 28 sales offices worldwide is an international manufacturer and distributor of packaging and labeling materials. With headquarters in Vienna, the group produces, trades and sells more than 1 million tons of paper and board and services national and international customers in over one hundred countries. The group's revenue in 2019 was € 873 Million.
