JSC Volga Starts Making Brown-Shade Paper
This paper (42-48 g/m2, 100% TMP) can be used as a liner for corrugated board
As informed by Volga’s Chief Process Engineer Mr Dmitrii Spitsin, in 2020 JSC Volga has launched production of brown-shade paper, 42-48 g/m2, to be used as liner for corrugated cardboard.
This paper is distinct for its unique colour (brown shade), absorbency and furnish (being produced form 100% TMP).
Volga’s technicians from the process engineeringand laboratory offices started working on the project in late 2019, when they were selecting the dyes to suit customers’ demands for the paper colour.
At the present, the brown-coloured paper can be produced at two paper machines. Importantly, the changeover fromthe white to brown grade and vice versa is done while the paper machine is running.
